I give this book a 5 star rating. The tension between the main characters is just right in not over doing.

Kudos to B.R. Curry for a fun, HOT read. I love to love these characters and am rooting for them from the beginning. It's a fun age-gap romance without all the weirdness that usually accompanies that type of story, so it was easy to enjoy. I am so excited this is just the first in a series of books. There were some great teasers to other stories about other characters I'm DYING to find out about. Like Max and Zander and Maddie..

I have really enjoyed this story and was hooked from the start. I thought the characters were developed and likeable, the story was written well and flowed nicely. Anna and Hogan were strong characters, I liked that they had history and that the dance they did wasn't always pretty or smooth, but it was so worth it to get to where they ended up. This is a new author for me and I am really looking forward to reading book two now and the rest of this series.

This was a steamy older man/younger woman story. Anna had known Hogan since a tween when she had hung around the firehouse with her uncle. Now back, she was surprised that her crush on him had only intensified. However not only was he way older than her but also her boss so they had some obstacles to overcome. Although some things were a little improbable and predictable, I still enjoyed this sweet love story. It didn't have much angst nor drama but was nevertheless entertaining enough. I especially enjoyed the journal entries in the beginning.
